Luncheon with Teddy and Edith Roosevelt

This is the kickoff to a trilogy of guest speaker performances featuring Kevin and Dara Oliver as Teddy and Edith Roosevelt impersonators.  

Luncheon at the Rough Riders Museum, 601 N 19th Street, Tampa, FL 33605, 1130AM - 1PM.

1130AM doors open, Rough Riders docents providing tours of the Rough Riders Museum, featuring a newly curated exhibit "Preparing for War, 1898".

12Noon - Lunch available, sandwiches, salads, non-alcoholic drinks

1230 - Program begins with performance by Teddy Roosevelt impersonator Kevin Oliver and featuring Dara Oliver impersonating Edith Roosevelt.

Cost is $35 for the luncheon/performance.

• Night at the RoughRider Museum, 6-5-2026, 5PM-10PM. Details and registration here.  History comes alive for the night with presentations about Cuba in the late 1800’s; about the Army in the Spanish American War; and about Teddy Roosevelt and his unique place in American history.  Artifacts, photographic materials, weapons, equipment and maps on display. Movie at 7PM.
• Bay Pines National Cemetery Commemoration Event, 6-6-2026, 9AM-945AM.  Details and registration here. On June 6th at 9AM the Rough Riders will conduct a graveside commemoration for two Spanish America War soldiers at the Bay Pines National Cemetery.  We will commemorate Private Herbert P McGregor of the 1st US Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (Rough Riders) and Private John Moor of the 9th US Cavalry (Buffalo Soldiers).
