| In 1978, Charlie Spicola founded the 1st U.S. Volunteer Cavalry Regiment "Rough Riders", Inc. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation formed for the purpose of creating a perpetuating and living memorial to the unique accomplishments of President Theodore Roosevelt and the members of his famous volunteer cavalry regiment, known as the Rough Riders. With the generous offering of his time, memories and great story telling abilities, Charlie Spicola, Robin Conn and Mike Sheffer created a series of videos to preserve the history and details of the founding of "The Tampa Rough Riders". We called it "Charlie's Scrap Book". |
