Bay Pines National Cemetery Commemoration Event

Save the Date!

On June 6th at 9AM the Rough Riders will conduct a graveside commemoration for two Spanish America War soldiers at the Bay Pines National Cemetery.  We will commemorate Private Herbert P McGregor of the 1st US Volunteer Cavalry Regiment (Rough Riders) and Private John Moor of the 9th US Cavalry (Buffalo Soldiers).

Performers acting as Teddy and Edith Roosevelt will provide a performance.  We will conduct a wreath laying and play taps to honor these two soldiers.

This will be a uniformed event to honor the memory of these fallen soldiers.

We will plan to take the Trolley so you can join us at the clubhouse and ride over together. Please RSVP your interest and stay tuned for the Plan of the Day.
