Tampa Train Day

  • Sat, May 11, 2019
  • 601 N. Nebraska Ave Tampa, FL 33602

The Rough Riders will again be attending and supporting Tampa Train Day.

Join the fun at Tampa Union Station on Tampa Train Day!

Come on out and celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Golden Spike ceremony which marked the completion of the transcontinental railroad at this event at Downtown Tampa's historic Union Station!

This family-friendly event will feature model train displays, history and transportation exhibits, live music and food trucks!

Best of all, it's absolutely free!

Tampa Train Day is organized by the volunteers of Friends of Tampa Union Station, a nonprofit group which raises funds and awareness for the preservation of historic Tampa Union Station, listed in the National Register of Historic Places and completed in 1912.

Restored in 1998, Tampa Union Station is Tampa's Amtrak station and a stop on Amtrak's New York-Miami Silver Star line.
