Rough Rider Park

This park commemorates the Rough riders who departed from there in 1898. They arrived on the train tracks across the street. The historical marker was placed there in 1951. The gazebo in the park was originally built by the Ballast Point Women’s Club around 1942. It was rebuilt by the Tampa Rough Riders in 2013.
